Visit Falkland Islands offers shuttle services around East Falklands. If you are arriving by airline into Mount Pleasant Airport (MPA) and need a pick-up and drop off into Stanley, or if you require a drop-off/pick-up to/from any farm on East Falklands, we can help.
There are two routes when flying to the Falkland Islands. Fly from Santiago, Chile in South America (which links from London, Heathrow via Madrid, Spain) or opt for the MOD (Ministry of Defence) air service direct from Oxfordshire, UK.
The quickest and most scenic way of travelling between the islands within the Falkland Islands, is via the Falkland Islands Government Airservice (FIGAS). By far the most enjoyable and efficient way of island hopping.
The local ferry service (Concordia Bay) can transport you and your vehicle from East to West Falklands, and to many of the other islands. If you want to explore the West island at your own pace, in a 4x4 vehicle, taking the ferry is the only way to do it.
